We are the Lytham St Annes YMCA Panthers (originally YMCA Blacks). We started out as U7’s in the 2019-20 season, slowly learning the game and developing into a good side playing attractive, attacking football achieving promotion into Tier 1 in time for the start of the U8’s season. During the U8’s season hard work and a relentless desire to improve saw us become one of the very best teams in the Blackpool & District Youth League. We beat a number of very good teams and became known for our never-say-die attitude. We narrowly missed out on a place in the Hogan Cup final, being defeated 5-4 by one of our local rivals (whom we managed to beat in a friendly the day afterwards). As we move to U9’s and 7-a-side football, we expect to challenge for honours on all fronts. We are The Mighty Panthers!!!
