YMCA Panthers are going to Villa Park!!!

YMCA Panthers U9’s are delighted to announce they have secured the opportunity to play at Villa Park, the home of Premier League club Aston Villa FC.

Villa Park is rightly considered to be one of the great stadiums in English football, with a capacity of over 42,000 and a history of hosting major matches, including FA Cup semi-finals and matches in both the 1966 World Cup and Euro 96.

This exclusive tournament provides junior teams with the opportunity of a lifetime and the chance of some truly unforgettable memories by playing on the same pitch as the stars of the Premier League!

On the day, the boys will get to visit the players' changing room, line up in the tunnel and run out onto the pitch to a matchday anthem and then play in a 7v7 tournament on the pitch. 

Head Coach Nick Wood said, “We are delighted to have secured a place in this tournament as a reward for the effort and dedication the boys show week in, week out. They’re a fantastic group to coach and I’m proud to have the opportunity to teach them how to play attacking and exciting football. It really will be a unique experience for them and we hope they enjoy it.”
